The SensorDisc is a unique Datalogging solution for school science with up to 12 sensors built into a single compact and wireless datalogger. There is no need to buy extra sensors in order to carry out a wide range of school science experiments.
With the SensorDisc students can measure a long list of parameters which include:
- Air Pressure (using the included air pressure tube);
- Ambient Temperature;
- External Temperature (using the included temperature probe);
- Current and Voltage (using the included 2mm to 4mm connecting leads)
- Distance;
- Light;
- Sound Level;
- Microphone;
- pH (using the included pH electrode);
- Relative Humidity;
- GPS;
An additional universal sensor input enables students to add additional external sensors; such as a Photogate or Carbon Dioxide sensor.
The SensorDisc is a powerful datalogger which offers a large memory of 1;000;000 samples; fast sampling rates of up to 100;000 samples per second and a long battery life of up to 150 hours between charging.
A Graphic analysis software; available for Windows and Android (with MAC & iOS coming soon); helps students to display and analyse the SensorDisc data on a variety of displays; such as gauges; line graphs; bar graphs; tables and even as a layer of measurements in Google Maps. The software is free to download from our website
Pedagogic material and experiment guides are available in all subjects: Biology; Chemistry; Physics and Environmental Sciences.
SensorDisc offers BlueTooth or USB connectivity and is supplied with a stainless steel external temperature probe; 2 x test leads for voltage and current; pH electrode and air pressure tube.
Other available external Sensors include:
- Carbon Dioxide (B8R0811)
- Photogate (B8R0810)
- Respiration (PP00050562)
- Wireless Force & Accelerometer (PP00050561)
- Current Sensor -250 - +250mA (PP00050564)
- Voltage Sensor -10 - +10V (PP00050563)
- Magnetic Field (PP00050337)
- Heart Rate (PP00050336)
A charging Tray which can store and charge up to 8 SensorDisc units is also available (B8R08191).
