The LED.Laser by Unilab is a Class 2 light source emitting red light at 640nm and has a power output of 1mW. Used on its own the LED.laser can be used to investigate reflection refraction diffraction and interference. It can also be driven by the new LED.modulator (B8R04837) which allows the intensity to be modulated with an analogue signal. The signal can then be received with the LED.Rx (B8R04836) which can demodulate the signal for output to an audio amplifier or oscilloscope. By modulating with a 1MHz signal the speed of light can be measured directly. The laser has a convenient flat-bottomed cylindrical housing for work on the bench and a boss on the back allows mounting on a retort rod.Technical Specifications:Wavelength: 640nmClass II unitPower Output: 1mWA plug-top power supply and an experiment guide are included with the product. The LED.Laser can be used as a standalone product but can also be used with the following equipment (available separately) to extend its capabilities:LED.modulator - B8R04837LED.Rx - B8R04836
