This set of 26 soft alphabet puppets each have an upper case and lower case letter stitched on their fronts ('Ll' on lion puppet; 'Qq' on queen puppet).
As they play with different puppets; children will learn to associate the letter with the animal or character; which in turn will reinforce letter recognition.
